Therapy Sessions Entertain People Looking to Get the Best out of Their Therapy Sessions

March 18 18:10 2019

Everyone needs help dealing with life’s problems sometimes. Therapists are trained to help clients with a range of issues and to act as guides on the path to emotional well-being. Still, starting to see a therapist can feel intimidating. What should you expect from the process? Will you have to explore parts of yourself that have spent long stretches of time in hiding? What do you say to a therapist, anyway? With Therapy Sessions, you can manage these concerns and be prepared to make the most of your session.

Therapy Sessions is a web series that uses humor to erase the fear of going to therapy. By showing the audience what therapy might look like, this amazing web series allows people who need help to know what to expect in a therapy session.

As a therapist, you can feature Therapy Sessions in your professional blog, use during workshops, or as a tool during your practice, or to help kids in crisis. This will go a long way in helping your clients.

The first segment of the Therapy Sessions series dealt with grief and depression. The therapist, Theodore Crumpkin, asked the client, Death, to journal, to try changing her attitude, and to try affirmation. Death, then, had a breakthrough, showing a positive outcome of therapy.

The second segment of the series dealt with a support group of characters experiencing fear and anxiety. Theodore Crumpkin allowed them to talk through their concerns and then talked with them about feelings. This showed what a group counseling session might look like for someone seeking help in a group setting.

The third segment in the series focuses on marriage counseling. Theodore Crumpkin will see a couple that love each other very much, but have found dealing with their problems is causing an impasse in their marriage. Theodore will help them talk about their issues and guide them to a compromise with the largest of the problems. This will allow couples in the real world to see that there is help for those who want to learn new ways to communicate with their spouses. Animal Instincts can become a reality with your help.

There are 8 more episodes in the planning stage to focus on topics such as medication, agoraphobia, social media, relationships, and bipolar disorder. Please contact the Producer of Therapy Sessions, Kimberly P. Coburn about sponsoring these incredible series:
