Mayra Luz Colón, Founder/CEO of Healthy Rican, was recently selected as Top Health Coach of the Year for 2023 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) for her outstanding leadership, dedication, and commitment to the industry.

Inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself; only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, longevity in the field, other affiliations, and contributions to their communities. All Honorees are invited to attend the IAOTP annual award gala at the end of this year for a night to honor their achievements.

With almost a decade of experience as a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, Mayra has certainly proven herself an expert in the field.  Mayra’s passion for integrating superfoods into family meals, and providing nutritious meals bringing a Puerto Rican flair, has been the driving force behind the Healthy Rican brand.

Before embarking on her career path, Mayra had attended the University of Puerto Rico-Ponce, where she obtained her Associate’s Degree in Civil Engineering. She then went on to The Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where she obtained her health and wellness coach certification.

Throughout her illustrious career, Ms. Mayra Luz Colón has received many awards and accolades and has been recognized worldwide for her accomplishments. This year she will be considered for the Empowered Woman Award and to be featured in TIP (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine. She will be honored at IAOTP’s annual awards gala at the NYC Plaza Hotel this December for her selection as Top Health Coach of the Year. 

In addition to her successful career, Mayra is also the author of the cookbook Healthy Rican: Put the Latin spice in your healthy life! She’s on a mission to eliminate dull meals and replace them with delightful options for ordinary people who want to eat healthily. Mayra’s aim is to help ladies who are stalled on their health and wellness path. To educate women on how to discover their real selves via a total lifestyle and mentality reset.  Mayra believes following your heart, gut instinct, and wisdom is the secret to happiness.
